Analisis Potensi dan Daya Tarik Wisata Alam Berbasis Edukatif di Kebun Raya Cibodas

Cibodas Botanical Garden is an area with significant nature tourism potential, supported by its diverse plant collections, well-preserved environment, conservation function, and various attractions that can provide recreational and learning experiences. However, the use of this potential and these attractions as part of educational-based tourism still needs to be developed, especially in the presentation of information through interpretive media and access to educational activities for visitors. This study aims to analyze the potential for nature tourism, the attractions of nature tourism, and the use of educational elements at Cibodas Botanical Garden. The study used a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review, then analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis. The results show that Cibodas Botanical Garden has nature tourism potential in the form of plant collections, natural surroundings, a conservation area, and thematic gardens. The main attractions include Sakura Garden, the Greenhouse, plant collections, and the landscape of the area. Educational elements are utilized through interpretive signs, QR codes, the Tour de Kebun Raya Cibodas, educational classes, and educational and research activities. The study’s implications indicate the need to develop more informative and interactive interpretive media, as well as expand access to educational experiences to strengthen the role of Cibodas Botanical Garden as an educational-based nature tourism destination.
